We’ve worked in partnership with FACT Liverpool for over 10 years but our latest project “The Body Swap”has been a world exclusive!

Students from Y8 SLC have been working alongside the FACT Team on an exciting Virtual Reality experiment. They have trialled a project called “The Body Swap” which involves a VR machine and enables two people to see the world from the other person’s point of view! Using cameras, headsets and drama skills it simulates an amazing out of body experience.
Our Academy are the first school in the world to take part in the scheme. The students gained team work skills, learnt how to use the machine and how to run a whole session!
They showcased the project at FACT which was a fantastic event. They even had a visit from Sir Nicholas Serota Chair of the Arts Council England.
