“This afternoon an issue was identified with one of the main boilers. A contractor was called out to inspect and has found that the main boiler requires a part. Until the part is fitted the boiler cannot be used and we have had to turn it off. As a result, there is currently no heating on site.

Unfortunately, due to these unexpected circumstances, the anticipated overnight temperatures, and to ensure that our school community is safe, I have taken the difficult decision to close the school tomorrow, Tuesday 11th February 2025.

Work will be posted on MS Teams by mid morning on Tuesday as an assignment under the title ‘School Closure Work 11.02.25’.

There will be further communication in the morning about whether your child will require a free school meal.”
