Our students embraced this year’s World Book Day and attended school dressed up as a multitude of characters from books.

We had three Harry Potters, twins from The Cat in the Hat and our very own Katniss Everdeen gracing our corridors on 1st March.

Two students paired together to come as Miss Trunchbll and Bruce Bogtrotter from Roald Dahl’s “Matilda” recreating the “chocolate cake” scene from the book.

Students’ vivid imaginations went wild and we had a Minion, Oliver Twist, Sonic the Hedgehog and a fabulous Alice in Wonderland.

Staff even got in on the act with our new librarian sporting a fine Harry Potter costume, complete with the lightning scar and Mrs Riley came dressed as Witch from “Room on the Broom”.
