Reporting Your Child Absent

You must inform the Academy if your child is going to be absent.
Please call 0151 260 7600 before 8:00am and choose Option 2 to report the absence.
You must do this for every subsequent day of the absence.
If your child is absent for more than 5 school days then medical evidence will be required (ie. a Doctor’s note)
If your child has 2 or more periods of absence in a half term medical evidence may be required to be produced for subsequent absences.
If your child has an appointment please bring in the appointment letter or card to be photocopied for our records.
If you know of an appointment in advance then you can bring the required document in beforehand and arrangements for the student leaving for the appointment can be made.
