At KS4 students carry on with the acquisition of the language they started at in KS3. This ensures basics are secure before moving on to more in-depth language learning. Through the study of higher topics, students deepen their knowledge of the language whilst developing their awareness and understanding of other cultures where the language is spoken. They develop the four skills of speaking, listening, writing and reading to further study the language at higher education or in employment.
