Students work on a carousel system with Food and Nutrition, experiencing 12-week blocks of Textiles and Resistant Materials in every year during Key Stage 3. Lessons involve practical and theory work to build skills, knowledge and understanding of a variety of topics. These include sustainability, electronics, natural and man-made materials, and design. The department has made a conscious decision to offer a curriculum that allows students to develop important skills for life beyond the classroom.
