We are always looking for new and interesting projects for our students and we were delighted to join The Girls’ Network.

Our Academy is now a pilot school for the all-girls project. The network aims to link girls with women in business and industry to raise aspirations and provide mentoring with the long term intention of reducing the gender gap in business and improving girls’ chances for future employment. Our Year 10 girls assembled to hear from Amy Campo McEvoy about the scheme and then submitted applications to join. Ten students were then selected to take part in the project and attended a ‘matching’ event on Thursday 12th April to connect with their mentors.  Watch this space for further updates on their progress.
