Year 8 pupils were given a fantastic tour of the Tudor manor house, learning about life for young and old during the period.

Miss Roscetti’s Year 8 students visited Speke Hall for a history field trip. They were taught about Tudor traditions and culture, also discover how changes in religion impacted upon life at the time, both for the rich and for the poor.
Students also had a go at creating their own pomander, which have been used since the Middle Ages to freshen clothing! Certainly, one of the main highlights of the trip was the opportunity to dress in traditional Tudor garments, which provided the opportunity for plenty of posing and lots of laughs! Hasan and Amy were brilliant at modelling their Tudor outfits!
