Four students visited Anfield to take part in what they thought was a competition to meet Mo Salah, they were in for the surprise of their lives!

20 students from 5 schools all competing in pairs in a commentary competition to get the chance to meet Mo Salah – pretty straight forward? Except Liverpool Football Club’s “Kop Kids” had other ideas.  All the students received a pep talk from Jason McAteer and commentator Pete McDowall before being whisked away to commentate on LFC Vs Arsenal from August 2017.  That’s when things went crazy! As the students commentated on Mo’s goal, the record breaking winger nicknamed “The Egyptian King” jumped out through a life size picture of himself to surprise the students. Their reactions were priceless. The event was filmed and released on Youtube and now has over 5 million views.
