Year 7 students will study |
The core elements of number, algebra, geometry and measure, probability and statistics. The curriculum is designed to develop fluency, reasoning and problem solving skills in maths. |

Year 9 students will study |
The start of a three year GCSE course that covers; Number, Algebra, Ratio, proportion and rates of change, Geometry and measures, probability and statistics. |
Year 10 students will study |
Number, Algebra, Ratio, proportion and rates of change, Geometry and measures, probability and statistics in more depth with an emphasis on problem solving and reasoning. |
Year 11 students will study |
Number, Algebra, Ratio, proportion and rates of change, Geometry and measures, probability and statistics in more depth with an emphasis on solving the specific GCSE questions. |
You will be assessed by |
The qualification consists of three equally-weighted written examination papers at either Foundation tier or Higher tier. |
Extra-curricular opportunities |
As well as popular booster sessions for year 11 we enter students in various competitions during the year such as the Maths Challenge and we have a team of numeracy ambassadors. |
