About us

E-Safety

Within School

Our Academy now has Bloxx web-filtering and we also use Impero to monitor students computer activity both off and online.

We also have an E-safety group that meet regularly and they are currently working towards an E-safety kitemark.

Parents Resources
Parents can really struggle both to keep up with their children but also with confidence. Research suggests that they shouldn’t worry (or panic) and that parental involvement is really important. Here are our favourite resources.

Know it All for Parents
a unique and award winning interactive guide produced by Childnet International designed to really help parents or carers keep up to date with how children are using the internet, and support them in using these new exciting services safely and responsibly.
Vodafone Digital Parenting
Read about the very latest technology and challenges in this magazine – Expert View articles, ‘How to’ guides and Take Action checklists will help parents stay up-to-date and feel more confident about getting involved.
Parents Guide to Technology
The guide from the UK Safer Internet Centre answers frequently asked questions and introduces some of the most popular devices, highlighting the safety tools available and empowering parents with the knowledge they need to support their children to use these technologies safely and responsibly.
