What is Safeguarding?

What is Safeguarding?

Safeguarding refers to the processes adopted by our Academy for actively observing, monitoring, reporting and recording ALL matters which may potentially put our students at risk of harm or abuse.

Every member of our Academy community is a part of our ‘Safeguarding Team’ and everyone works together to keep the students in our care safe and well. In addition to Academy staff, we regularly work with agencies and other bodies who contribute additional support and services to our students and families, and together we work within the framework of the Liverpool Local Safeguarding Children’s Board (LSCB) in relation to Child Protection.
